Who We Are
I started in 1972 building grandfather clocks with Imbuia, Stinkwood, Kiaat etc.
Over time I expanded my business with a kitchen cupboard factory, which I ran for 15 years. During that time I imported an aircraft kit and built my own 2 seater aeroplane with Spruce wood and fiberglass. Me and my wife flew all-over SA with the aerie and eventually sold it years later. It’s now exported to Kenia. You can check it, the reg number was SZ-VNL. It was a KR-2 aircraft.
We moved to Centurion in 98 into a new business, but I still kept a few machines to satisfy my need for carpentry.
In 2015 my daughter asked to make our grand kids a few items for their dollhouse. I did a lot of research in this field and eventually used my method of gluing all together to be of a high quality which will last. We tried various products and in the end we spray our stuff with water based primers and top-coats to be of a high quality smooth satin finish.
We do our marketing through this webpage, our Facebook page and festivals like Innibos in Neslspruit, Aardklop in Potch etc.
We are situated in Centurion, south of Pretoria and courier our goodies all-over SA with The Courier Guy. Some of our customers collect directly from us.
Luckily, I never had any serious accidents on the machines and also train my staff on an ongoing basis about safety and how to keep your 10 fingers, also to concentrate when busy on a machine.
Up to date we are manufacturing 43 items, but over time it might increase with new lines.
